Fandora
Gold mineralization at Fandora was discovered in the 1930s, with historical underground development defining high-grade gold-bearing quartz veins. Historical production from 1960 through 1964 produced 972 tonnes at 47.0 grams per tonne gold and 8.6 grams per tonne silver.
Recent bulk sampling and ore sorting test work in 2021 and 2022, upgraded run of mine material from 5.9 grams per tonne gold to approximately 11.9 grams per tonne gold while recovering 90% of the precious metal in 60% of the mass. These results suggest potential for direct shipment of sorted ore without the need for on site milling.
Property wide soil geochemistry, VLF-EM, magnetics, and LiDAR surveys have identified three parallel northeast-trending structural corridors extending up to three kilometres in length. No exploration diamond drilling has been conducted on the project. The continuity and grade of known mineralization has been established through historical underground mining and strongly supports the proposal of conducting a drilling program to support a mineral resource estimation.
