Overview

The 100% owned Huckleberry mine is an open-pit copper-molybdenum mine located 88 kilometres south of Houston, British Columbia. Commissioned in 1997, the mine operated continuously until it was placed on care-and-maintenance in 2016. Mine planning indicates potential for additional production under favourable economic conditions.

Exploration drilling in the area of historical mining of the high-grade East zone (past production of approximately 50 million tonnes at a grade of 0.55% copper) was limited to approximately 200 metres depth. A 2020 exploration drilling program confirmed copper mineralization continues several hundred metres below the pit bottom.
