Overview

Mount Polley is a 100%-owned open-pit copper-gold mine located 56 kilometres northeast of Williams Lake in south-central British Columbia. Commissioned in 1997, the mill typically processes six to seven million tonnes of ore annually. Mount Polley provides over 400 direct jobs and delivers significant economic benefits to the surrounding communities. The current mine plan extends operations into the mid-2030’s.

Drilling beneath the current area of mining in Springer Pit has expanded the known mineralization footprint, with portions converted to reserves and deeper zones offering potential for additional life-of-mine extension.
