Welcome to Imperial Metals Corporation

Imperial Metals Corporation has been engaged in mineral exploration and development in British Columbia since 1959, with a focus on copper. Since 1991 Imperial has built and operated three mines in British Columbia: Red Chris, Mount Polley and Huckleberry, and operated the Goldstream mine. Over the last 35 years those mines have produced more than 2.7 billion pounds of copper and 1.7 million ounces of gold.

Today, with two operating copper mines, a third on care-and-maintenance and a large portfolio of grassroots to advanced-stage exploration properties, Imperial is well positioned to meet the increasing global demand for copper. Red Chris and Mount Polley mines, both porphyry deposits, produce copper and gold.
