Imperial and its subsidiaries are committed to supporting the local communities within which we reside and operate. Preference may be given to qualified applicants who reside within the local area. We appreciate your interest in working for Imperial, but only applicants selected for an interview will be contacted.
Imperial has been a British Columbia employer for over five decades. We are proud to call this province home, and equally proud to be a contributor to our local economy. The employees who work for Imperial and its subsidiaries are fundamental to our continued progress and achievements. We employ an exceptional and diverse group of people, and we continue to pursue qualified skilled people to join our team.
Red Chris mine began operations in 2015, and has since implemented initiatives to support skills development and advanced education. Given the scale of development projected for the northwest region, Red Chris is working with government, the Tahltan communities, industry, educational and training institutions to establish training programs. With over half of our workforce residing in northern British Columbia, the delivery of programs is focused on being accessible for northern residents and/or facilitating transportation requirements as may be needed.
